Full Court Crew is not just another Basketball Academy, it is a Membership to a true basketball experience
My Goal is to help kids improve their skills on the court while also learning what it means to be a great teammate and a coachable player in the future. We help every kid understand that to get better you must put in the work, but that also a major part of work is allowing yourself the celebration.

Full Court Crew began around six years ago with a simple vision from our founder Rob Roberts – to create more than just a basketball club. Rob wanted to build a basketball family, where kids could play with their friends, feel welcome, develop their skills, build confidence and most importantly #HAVEFUN.
With coaching experience across domestic, representative and state basketball, from under 8’s girls and boys right through to Big V Championship level and the Victorian Ivor Burge Men’s Programs, Rob has always been passionate about player development. For Rob basketball has never been solely about winning or scoring points. It is about helping players become better teammates, athletes and people. His approach focuses on developing the individual – from shooting, footwork and ball handling to defence, basketball IQ and the confidence to take those skills into a game. Rob has always believed that every player has potential. With the right encouragement, guidance and opportunities, every child can continue to grow and become the best version of themselves. That philosophy became the foundation of Full Court Crew. With Rob now enjoying life in sunny Queensland, Jason Skeels feels incredibly privileged to continue building Full Court crew and carrying forward the values that have made Full Court Crew what it is today. We know there are big shoes to fill, but the vision remains clear: To provide an environment where players are supported, challenged, encouraged and given every opportunity to grow both on and off the court.
As basketball continues to evolve, Full Court Crew will continue to embrace new opportunities, including traditional 5-on5 basketball, 3×3 and other experiences that challenge our players to help them develop. Because basketball is about more than what happens on the court. It is about friendships, confidence, lessons, memories and connections that last long after the final buzzer.
That is Full Court Crew and at the heart of everything we do will always be our number 1 rule: #HAVEFUN

Basketball has been a huge part of my life from a young age. I started playing at under 8’s and continued through to under 16s before moving into senior basketball. My passion for the game was inspired by my cousins, who played at Dandenong Rangers and were coached by my uncle. I simply couldn’t get enough of it!
I was also fortunate enough to be coached by some fantastic coaches throughout my junior years, including the great Lindsay Gaze, who helped shape my love and understanding of the game.
When my wife introduced our kids to basketball, it reignited my passion for the sport – this time from the sideline as a coach.
Over the past eight years, I have coached at a domestic level and for the last 5 years at a representative level with Pakenham Warriors. Along the way I have been lucky to learn from some fantastic coaches and mentors who have continued to develop my knowledge and approach to coaching.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that you never stop learning. The more I educate myself and continue to grow as a coach, the more I can pass on to our players. At Full Court Crew, our goal is to help every athlete build confidence, develop their skills and most importantly enjoy the game. We want our players to have the opportunity to develop their abilities and take basketball as far as they want to – all while maintaining our #HAVEFUN attitude.
We want Full Court Crew to be a place where families are welcomed with open arms, players feel safe and supported and every athlete can develop their skills, make friendships and create great memories. I’m excited for what’s ahead and look forward to seeing you all on the courts.
